Our Story

Our hearts are toward weary, wounded and wayward servants who long to stay in their commissioned lifestyle after burn-out but don't have anywhere to rest and start fresh again. It is our mission to reduce the rate of veteran suicides as well as reducing the number of ministry couples leaving the ministry due to this burn-out. They have faithfully served Us, God and Country and now it is time to give back.

Larry has innovative concepts of exercise, farming, and equestrian therapy for soldiers who are diagnosed with PTSD, just as he was. Through VA benefits and the Grace of God, he has attained a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and is ready to share with other veterans how he has turned his depression, anxiety and thoughts of uselessness when he returned from Vietnam into a career of ministry to help others be a productive citizen of his church, community and country.

We were mentored by a B&B in Georgia which adopted a philosophy of "non-intrusive availability", knowing that everyone's needs are different. We stand ready to reach out to the weary and wounded from service with the qualifications we possess from our separate fields of knowledge. Larry knows the effects of war and dangers of extreme assignments in the military.

Pat spent 10 years teaching Business in High School and Community colleges, 10 years as Middle School Counselor, and working in various roles in numerous churches. Larry and Pat have both received Master's Degrees in Clinical Psychology and School Counseling. Both have served together while pastoring/administrating duties in churches.
